At MARIPOSA, we believe young people have the power to strengthen and protect our communities. Our mission is to train and support Central Coast youth who want to become leaders and advocates in immigration work.
We give them hands-on knowledge of immigration law and the legal systems our families must navigate, so they can become trusted resources in their communities. We also help young people pursue a path toward becoming non-attorney Accredited Representatives, creating an opportunity to provide immigration legal services without having to attend law school first.
By investing in our youth, we are investing in the future of our families. Our goal is to build a new generation of advocates who will stay connected to the Central Coast, serve their communities, and help ensure that local families feel informed, supported, and protected.
