MARIPOSA’s application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending. If the IRS and FTB approve MARIPOSA’s application, then the organization’s tax-exempt status will be in effect as of March 30, 2025 (its date of incorporation) and your donation will be tax deductible. However, MARIPOSA cannot guarantee that it will receive tax-exempt recognition from the IRS or FTB. If MARIPOSA’s application is not approved, then your contribution will not be tax-deductible.
